Porter Job Description:
A Porter, also known as a janitor or custodian, plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within a facility. Porters are responsible for a range of tasks to ensure that the premises are well-kept and presentable. This position is essential in creating a positive and hygienic environment for both staff and visitors.
Porter Job Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.

Wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops.
Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
Maintenance:
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist in minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.
Stocking and Supply Management:
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
Keep track of inventory and report when supplies need to be ordered.
Groundskeeping:
Ensure the exterior of the facility is clean and well-maintained.
Remove litter from outdoor spaces and sweep walkways.
Assistance with Setup and Events:
Assist in setting up meeting rooms, event spaces, or other designated areas.
Provide support during special events or functions as required.
Customer Service:
Respond to requests and inquiries from staff and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner.
Address cleaning-related concerns promptly and professionally.
Adherence to Safety Protocols:
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment to prevent accidents.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications and Skills:
