We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations within our organization and ensuring the safety of our staff, visitors, and premises. Job Responsibilities:
Supervise Security Team: Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient operations.
Security Operations: Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, patrolling, and emergency response procedures.
Implement Security Protocols: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment in compliance with company standards and regulations.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Incident Management: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with appropriate authorities and stakeholders as required.
Training and Development: Provide training to security personnel on security procedures, emergency response, and safety protocols, ensuring their readiness to handle various situations.
Surveillance Systems: Monitor and maintain security surveillance systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms, ensuring their proper functioning.
Incident Reporting: Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, documenting security breaches, incidents, and any unusual activities, and maintain proper records.
Liaison and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and law enforcement authorities to enhance security measures.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using security systems, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform security-related duties, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Valid security certifications or licenses may be required, depending on local regulations.
Job Experience:
To be considered for the position of Security Supervisor, candidates should possess relevant experience in security operations and leadership roles. The following experience is desirable:
Security Supervision: Proven track record of working as a Security Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage a team of security personnel effectively.
