Water Proofing Technician Job Description:
A waterproofing technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to waterproofing systems and ensuring the protection of structures from water damage. Water Proofing Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and assessing structures to determine the extent of waterproofing needs.
- Applying waterproofing materials to surfaces, including roofs, basements, walls, and foundations.
- Installing and repairing waterproofing systems, such as membranes, coatings, sealants, and drainage systems.
- Identifying and repairing leaks or areas of water infiltration.
- Preparing surfaces for waterproofing, including cleaning, patching, and priming.
- Operating and maintaining equipment and tools used in waterproofing applications.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure effective project execution.
- Providing recommendations and solutions to prevent future water-related issues.
